Please fill me in on where our diplomacy failed
going to the UN and saying 'hey, we're gonna do this but wanna chat about it for a bit first?' must be some of that 'new world order' diplomacy, then. it seems to have left the rest of the world pissed off at us. well, as my (Rep) stepdad said today, 'tough!' that's the spirit.
My response about Rumsfeld showing some leadership was probably more directed at the notion that the previous administration did nothing without focus group polling and then only acted if they were sure it was in their candidates, not the country's best interest.
actually, since the gluttony of daily war coverage available makes public opinion go all over the place from day to day, so this admin is polling 500-1,500 people each and every night.
Don't any of you who disapprove of the war see any similarities between the actions of Hitler and those of Saddam?
okay, sure, but for Republicans to suddenly claim that the welfare of oppressed/struggling people is their top priority is transparently & patentedly absurd. totally out of historical character, and therefore very suspicious.
while we're on the topic of similarities, how about ours and Rome?
