Herring405,Yeah it sounds like your laptop/PC enters sleep/hibernation at some point.Note: As I have a Danish version of Vista, the English translations are mine and might not be exactly the same on the US version, but you'll get the picture:In Vista, do the following:
1. On the desktop, right click and select "Personal Settings".
2. Select "Screen Saver"
3. At the bottom, select "Change power settings"
4. Click the appropriate "power control model" and click "change settings for model"
5. And hey presto, now you can configure the laptop/PC when to enter hiberation, turn off the screen etc. And if you really want to get into details, then click "Change advanced settings".That should help. If it doesn't let me know. Worst case it's a trojan or some other nasty thing.Yours,
