Icon I think this opened new doors for music in films...

and nothing has been the same since. Think about how music was used before this and try to come up with a film that compares...I can't think of one.

Also happens to be my favorite film:

and if you watch this scene very closely you will notice that the gentleman playing the Russian is trying as hard as he can not to burst out laughing as Sellers does his thing.

He nearly loses it at least twice and as the story goes I guess they had to film many takes because Kubrick and everybody else on the set could not stop laughing at Sellers. Kubrick was ok with this I guess because the more people laughed the better (and more off the wall) Sellers got. That's why he didn't cut the Russian nearly losing it because they just could not get a take where Sellers didn't break everybody up!
