I thought I'd never say this, because when I was in High School during the earlier part of the eighties, I thought the music was great. I was turned on to New Wave scene, got my first punk hairdo and then dicovered Punk, Power Pop, and World music. Sure, I watched MTV and purchased a ton of shite music!!! The are a few that I've held on to in my collection. I would have to say, that for the most part The 80's music was just as sugar sweet and mind-less as 70's Top 40 Pop and as overblown and pompous as 70's Prog. Rock
