Sammy started playing some solo gigs around here last year, but I haven't had a chance to catch one yet. I usually find out two days before, where I've already made plans or have tix for another gig. One was in the beer tent at a fireman's festival of all places. Ah well, one of these days....
Three years ago I was in Phoenix to catch some spring training baseball, and went to this Tex Mex joint for dinner. Ended up sitting at the bar next to a couple from Milwaukee. Turns out the lady used to be Sammy's flame, for many years. She told me a few tales about what a buttmunch Kurt is, but I don't recall them now.
