It wasn't listed on your choices Gene, but I've had the best of luck with the good old USPS, even for reasonably large packages. Their rates aren't bad, their delivery time is good, and their followup, tracking, tracing, etc. are competitive with UPS and FedEx. I buy and sell a lot on eBay and most of it goes by USPS and I have yet to have a problem that wasn't resolved happily, with not a single item has been damaged by shipping.
Most of what I get shipped to me are LaserDiscs--those big 12" shiny things that were the precursor to the DVD in the 80's and 90's--and they're prone to getting whacked around. Not a single one has ever arrived cracked, spindled, bent, warped, or otherwise molested.
