Well, that is a very cool headline and it was funny when she said that (I actually watched them debate last night - ok, I have no life go ahead and make fun of me guys) and the truth is, and I think everybody knows, I agree with you 100% on Edwards. I've stuck with Edwards from the beginning and that is part of the reason...I think there are moderate Republicans that will vote for him that won't vote for Clinton or Obama. Edwards has sort of an across the board appeal and the Republicans are totally fucked with their candidates this time out. Rudy does not make the grade with a lot of them and he got whacked by his closet full of surprises again yesterday on the day of a major debate...it's only gonna get worse for him and his party knows it.

In reality, I think it was Huckabee that won the debate last night. He scored the most points, gained the most ground, and was the only one that never faltered or came off bad. The audience gave most of the other candidates a hard time at various points. Also Huckabee is likely to win Iowa putting the rest of the Republicans in a catch up mode. They say Romney will win New Hampshire but Huckabee is now a threat and his debate performance last night was a big score for him because Romney was the guy he was looking to hurt most and I think that happened.

I have to say though, what a horrible group of candidates these Republicans are. Tom Tancredo comes off like a total freak show. He looks like he should be doing 50's B horror films and dating Liberace. Thompson is all done and seems like a clown that is lost without a script to read from. The only other guys that seemed to do ok were Paul and McCain. The rest of them are not even worth taking about. I don't think the audience much cared for Rudy or Mitt.

It was painful to watch but I feel like I learned some things.
