Patrick, why don't you and all the other concerned citizens simply build thirty foot walls around your houses? That would save the rest of us taxpayers a lot of expense trying to build a fence along the entire US-Mexican border.
Ed did you even peruse my post? I think I explained no fences are necessary, did you miss the ghost for the offering?
If you're not good at bricklaying, or just don't like to get dirty, you can probably hire some Mexicans to help you construct your fort....
