I am getting crankier and less tolerant of all the BS.Our country is engaged in an illegal war, which is killing tens of thousands. And I'm supposed to get weepy over some pit bulls? I'm as disgusted by Ultimate Fighting as I am dog fighting. I won't watch either, but I won't demand that either stop. As the public schools in DC crumble, the city just dropped a couple hundred million on a new baseball stadium. Meanwhile, what does our Congress do? Meddle in petty bickering over supplements in Major League Baseball. Genocide reigns in Darfur and hundreds are macheted to death in Kenya. So let's give front page coverage to a single missing hiker. The "war on drugs" has increased prison populations by a factor of ten in just two decades. Let's all discuss what Lindsey Lohan did for New Year's eve. Pass the vinegar.
