Yeah, it was a great game. I went to a movie theatre to watch it so it was a fun time. I'll be honest, like everybody else, and being here in Massachusetts what do you expect, I thought the game would be over by halftime...with the Patriots destroying the Giants. So it was great when the game was still close and then the second half was fantastic. I will say that Patriots fans at halftime were still very confident they were going to win the game and I think remained pretty confident right up to when with 29 seconds and three time outs Brady and the offense got the ball back for the final drive. I think the feeling all around was that Brady would quickly drive them into field goal range and tie the game to send it into overtime...so it was in those final moments when the Patriots seemed to be trying only to throw long bombs that you could feel the crowd sink and get a little wild. The overall feeling after the game was that they blew it just trying to get big plays in the final seconds and not using the whole field as they could have with the time outs and just trying to get into field goal range. Pretty much I thought the Giants defense was fantastic and gave Brady a beating he was not used to getting and that really hurt the way he played. He was off target and wild with his throws and that's not the Tom Brady people are used to seeing. Manning was very Brett Favre-like in the second half escaping and making throws when it looked like the play was over. He had a great game. It was amazing but the Giants just looked more prepared for the game and more fired up than the Patriots. I think the one thing that nobody really factored in was that both coaches were students of Bill Parcells and so probably knew what the other would do in key situations. Great game. Hey, was this post originally titled 'Mick Suck it' because that's a great title...Brad would be so proud!
