- little girl who lived across the creek in a big red brick white pilar house. Her family had money, My didn't and at seven years old, I knew the difference. She moved away shortly after. (major Charlie Brown moment)

- a few years later, another little girl, this time on our side of the creek and my brother and I where both vying for her affection. My first love letter written for another and my first attempt at trying to win someone attention. She turned us both down! But the at was o.k. because Farrah was plastered all over our walls and really, no one could top her.

- crush on Instructor/mentor in College in a major way. Meaningless flirtations with many others. The big tease and the big let down, would be the best description.

- fellow Grad student who broke my heart. Took me three years to move on and another 4 to find love again.

-current partner and soul mate who I will be celebrating the start of year ten with at the end of this week.
