personally, I’ve found it to be the most difficult instrument to learn (of those I’ve fiddled around with) because those who do play it well are like a secret society that keeps it’s magic vary close to the vest. (I think that colloquialism works, …maybe not.) Anyway, best I can figure, it is truly a listen and mimic and experiment sort of instrument. Very oral, very bacteriological…. I can pick up my sons alto and, in a few minutes of noodling around, come up with a passable melody to play along with the drums for a while, …but near every time I get going with the harmonica, aiming for a bluesy tone, I get to blowin more than suckin and down @ the crossroads a chickin pickin morphs into something between Bavarian Beerfest over Munich and Polska Kielbasa Varieties. Not even Zydeco Snap Beans or lean up against a tree by the stream and wail for that one lost (pub-tramp) love, which would do ~~ no, we’re talkin clapping on the 1 & 3 sorta lederhosen & wienerschnitzel eatin ……..yikes. So even with only one week's experience, concidering Kim’s gene pool resources, he’s likely well on his way to schooling us, Andrea. & more soul-power to him.

The rest of that post (written while listening to B and his power trio work out a kinda hard rock funk jam) was just a freakout following the mccain-unable speechifyin from the other day, wherein he plainly said … Sorry, people, I feel for you and all...but this is just how it’s gona be: All that stuff you got used to, like spare money and healthcare and schools and homes and fair value for your energy costs, that’s all out the window now for you good folks without American Express Black Cards…hehe. …But, hey, don’t feel bad about it, …let meee feel bad about it ~~ it’ll be my burden, you have families to care for. So go, …go out there and find that second minimum wage job; hell there’s 24 whole beautiful hours in every day, or……. learn how to use eBay to make a living…just like a hundred thousand others have. OR…if’n you’re able-bodied and under oh say 40, why not go right ahead and join our noble servicemen in the front lines of America’s Biggest Investment! Yeahhhh…lets hear it for my fortune, let’s hear it for your sacrifice, lets partyyyyyyyyyyy on dudes!!!!!!!!!!!
