Dale, Thanks for the littering alert. I will pass it on to my dad as you are in his neck of the woods. I don't remeber it being so littery the last time I was there. But the last time I was at the mouth of the hood river, it was a travesty. This incredibly gorgeous place and the beach looked like a garbage truck had been unloaded there. Sheesh.
