No, no oodles of footage, just lots of memories. Some good, some bad, all tainted by the painting of
later events... Just unfortunate all the way around, at least from this particular vantage point. The
trouble with early death is that every memory, in retrospect, seems to point to that death, that
circumstance... Even the most innocent encounters. I have to confess it did give me a bit of a
sorrowful pang, seeing him in those videos. Frozen in time. He'd have been, what, 40 now? Christ.
Could have had some kids, grown into his talent, who knows?
