It was a bit too offbeat for my mainstream sensibilities, but I do fondly recall "The Log Lady". She was known to carry a log around as she had some sort of psychic bond with it. Coincidentally, I had a friend in high school who was always in the company of a two foot lead pipe which he dubbed "Janet". He dispensed with Janet upon finding a girlfriend. True story.Peter T.
