Granted and I agree with you but you know if you think about the Lewinsky scandal that was a joke and really never should have come out. I guess the thing is there are probably more prostitutes, whore houses, and escort services in and around DC than all of Vegas and LA combined. If we outed every politician that had an affair or paid for sex DC would be a ghost town. Right now if you are a Democrat and a reasonably good looking guy the first thing they are digging for is the women you have slept with or are sleeping with. If you are a Republican they are looking to see if you are diddling children or other guys. Sucks I know but this is our world. Does the fact that all of these guys know this and do it anyway show a lack of good judgement? Sure, but boys will be boys and Republicans love boys. Ok, cheap shot I know but the fact is all these guys approach it the same way. The temptation is huge and they think "I'll never get caught."

The other side of the coin is we don't know what sort of marriage they have. For the cameras and during an election of course they would promote the traditional idea of marriage but there are all kinds of people out there and all kinds of marriages. This might not be politically prudent but people are people and Elizabeth Edwards may have had a deal with John for years that he could see other women for sex. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors. Just saying, everything is not always what it looks like on the surface. Not using that as a cop out either...I really mean we just don't know.
