There is an old saying "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig", meaning, I guess, that you can try & dress up something to appear more attractive than it really is but it's essential nature is unchanged.

So, just to set the record straight for you really concrete thinkers: I did not call Sarah Palin a pig. I meant to infer that she is a grossly unqualified, intellectually incompetent ideologue unfit for national office. The RNC's attempt to buy off the wrath and misgivings of the Republican right are transparent and Sarah Barracuda has been handled and lipsticked and manhandled into some semblance of respectability for general consumption.

If there are 'pigs' on the loose it is the ones who orchestrated this farce and who have driven yet another nail into the heart of the American experiment by promoting a woman who should be more appropriately holding a position that asks "do you want fries with that?"
