When I read the post from db about getting his music out there I'm left with the feeling that he's got some music he thinks we'll appreciate and he's trying to find a way to get it to the masses with a little compensation for his effort.

I don't want to try and speak for anyone else on the board but when you've got a situation such as this where the artist no loger enjoys a large fan base but is willing to continue to make his work available to those who are still supportive, I for one would pay much more for this opportunity.

I think most of us have those things in our lives which we'll pay more for than the average person would because we place a higher value on whatever that thing may be.  The music of db falls into that category for me. 

Either way, db isn't going to make a killing off whatever he makes available to us no matter how it's distributed nor do I think he cares to.  If I had to guess I'd say he doing this as a favor to all of us and getting some satisfaction knowing that his music is very much being appreciated by those of us who have sought it out.

What I'm trying to say is I see this endeavor by db as a favor to us more than anything and I'd like to think that we can return the favor by being willing to pay a bit more for what he's offering than we would some more readily accessible music.
