I read the whole thing and found myself fighting something - I forwarded the link that Kent posted to a friend of mine in an email and gave him (and now you all) this admission -
"in some instances he [Penn] gets things in the wrong order [there wouldn't be any sanctions if Sadaam was outta there - besides that - if sanctions worked Cuba would be open to exploitation], but I found myself fighting something. An interesting thing occurred while I was reading it. Apathy. It's college trained for me, and I honestly hadn't recognized it that way - perhaps it's because I put myself through school (and this already smells like an excuse), but I learned to...skip the boolsheet - find the part you'll be tested on...move on...we got a party/job to go to...I hadn't really put the argument of diligence and obligation together quite this way."
So thanks for the post Kent.
