Gene:

The cost of my combined health care --- from the Hemophilia Clotting Factor to the 18 seperate prescription drugs I am taking for various health problems, including HIV and HIV- related issues --- is approximately $300,000 per year.

You want to hear something fucking ridiculous?!

Marijuana is against the law --- BUT for $8.00 per pill, my doctor can prescibe me MARINOL --- a gelatine pellet with liquid THC in a seasame oil. That's right, $8.00 each!!!

The maximum dosage is three capsules per day --- a bottle of 100 for one month's use. My health insurace is billed $800 for that bottle of MARINOL --- the equivilent of an ounce of marijuana, which has never been anywhere near $800!!!!

The DRUG CARTEL does not benefit from something which is naturally replentishable (solar home power, anyone?) or could be grown for free.

Holistic medicine and especially preventative medicine --- is simply not profitable on the massive scale which is proportionate to the deeply in-bred nature of the greed and avarice of the global scum.

Also, drugs have funded a great many governmental covert- op program --- whether we are talking MENA, ARKANSAS or IRAN-CONTRA or even the disgusting MK-ULTRA program.

I have personally spoken with several people involved with MK-ULTRA, and the mind control subjects are forbidden to smoke marijuana, because it makes an individual impervious to mind control conditioning. My source was told by her handler that if she ever touched marijuana --- the handler would put a bullet in the back of her skull.

So, before MEDICAID REFORM and all that dancing in the street --- the USA should just repeal the ORPHAN DRUG LAW.

Here is how it wortks:

Gene, let's say you are a molecular chemist for one of the drug compaines. You have been given a special assisgnment. It is to find a way to find a much needed WONDER DRUG.

You find what you are looking for --- a cure for whatever.

Now, your section manager comes into your office and says that he has a deal for you. If you would like to have a successful career at the company, he would like you to put his name on the patent that you will hold in partnership with the company you work for.

You become a rich man for dooing all the work, and your manager becomes rich for five minutes of expertly asserted pressure tactics and guilt.

Now, because your company owns the patent, and if accepted by the terms of the ORPHAN DRUG LAW --- your company holds a non-competitive contract for seven full years. During all those seven years --- there will be no generic alternative.

Here's where it gets interesting . . .

After that seven years, the people who need your drug know it by your name --- thanks to that seven year, $100 million dollar world-wide marketing and advertsing campaign. Plus, worldwide annual sales of this drug is 2 billion dollars.

This is called MINDSHARE in the parlance of Madison Avenue marketing.

By the seventh year --- people won't even remember that your drug was not a new wonder drug, but rather a failed submission to the FDA --- all the way back in the late 1960's. It was originally a chemotherapy drug, but it was found to be too toxic -- and was withdrwan from the market before it was even given approval by the FDA.

That's because the FDA was going to REJECT THE APPLICATION.

The marketing campaign worked --- a new generation has been fooled.

Your 35 year-old NEWLY-DISCOVERED wonder drug in that seven years, made your compny almost $60 BILLION DOLLARS. All thanks to the Federal ORPHAN DRUG LAW.

Is this illustration representative of reality?

Of course it is --- the story I just outlined above is the story of the AIDS drug AZT --- a CANCER DRUG which was withdrawn from the market for making too many people violently ill.

I personally took AZT for four days. It gave me the following symptoms:

01) 105 degree fever

02) Vertigo

03) Loss of mental acuity

04) Short-term memory loss

So, if these people want to do soething that will actually have some effect, then they should repeal the ORPHAN DRUG LAW.

My prescriptions alone are about $25,000 per year.

Peace and Prayers,
