I remember asking you if you had read any Jim Thompson and you said no. I don't really think it's that you and Jim write in the same style really but there is a "feeling" about the characters that you create that makes the connection for readers/listeners. I really suggest you read "The Killer Inside Me", it's pretty short so you'd know quick if you like it or not.

Just for fun but hell, might get you primed for your next Krav-beating thing...you could connect with your inner chainsaw wielding child or something...then again, maybe you should not read it...wait...
