OK - I'm suitably chastened...

Hey, Kathryn. Don’t sweat the Ed Heads, lady. (hehe). …Jeez, Maya and I (fer cryin’out loud) read Dean Koontz (and if I ever bumped into him on the beach down the hill from his house with Trixie at his side, …I’d hug ‘im like a rescued nephew hugs a beloved uncle..and lie prostrate before Trixie..until she rolled over for a goooood belly rub). The other day I was walking the curbside, early morning, reading another excellent Koontz book, …slipped on ice and fell a foot or two into the street. Pickup truck ran me over. …Driver saw I was readin’ Koontz, rolled back and ran me over again. & you know what?  I laid there bent & bleeding, ..reading Koontz. I love the fella---a true poet, of any century.

Probably not...going to find a lot of folks-dbisly reading Dean Koontz.  Too bad.
