im sure the third time will prove a charm, esp. if you precede it with the likes of mccabe & mrs miller... haha. the opening extended scene, an homage of sorts to the long tracking shot we see in 'touch of evil,' is in itself reason enough to see and appreciate this film... and as a satire of hollywood and its denizens, it's pretty unparalleled... i wouldn't be surprised to learn that david likes this film...
on a side note, currently watching with my daughter the red carpet segment of the cultural vacuum that is the grammy awards... most common question asked the 'artists': "you look fabulous - who are you wearing?" wtf...?!?
