This immaculate Leland Crooke monologue from m’ favorite chick-flick since 1992. “Jumper's Preface” opens the 1st act of Scorchers (DVD). A film that will silly U up & move U to waterworks, if U gota pulse (R-rating ensues at 7:34 – viewer discretion), & was th'namesake o my signature for a decade's moons.
.....let 'er take U 'round corners....
Jumper, experts & "Preacher Baby"
Zydeco music ties together three interweaved interwoven humanity stories. The opening scene
following “Jumper’s Preface” is neither gratuitous nor indicative of the remainder of the movie. A
strong impacting point has to be made therein for the mood to be set and the story ...unwound.
This really is a good dawgone monologue ..and a rare sorta movie that reads like a play
..but, will take you around corners if you just slip er on and let er ripple.
