when Mellancamp came out with Human Wheels and claimed it the best work he had
ever done. For a while I was with him but that album has not held up as well as
say Lonesome Jubilee for me at least. Cat Stevens and I hate to admit this but
should have left well enough alone. I hoped for a comeback and bought both of
his new CD's but never listen to them. There is one or two cuts on both that
are good but just listening to Tea or Teaser and I realize how really good he
once was. You took this thread in an interesting direction but my original
intent was artists you listened to in the past but not now. I guess just as interesting a topic would be an artist that you pull out now and listen to and
go "Wow" still good stuff! Robbie Robertson eponymous CD would be one
example............
