This greeted me in my local paper today. Local section. "West adds his Voice to Church Celebration." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/breakingnews/fl-faith-fireworks- 20110703,0,3618449.story

Artice VI paragraph 3: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any office or Public Trust under the United States. Amendment 1 Freedom of religion, speech and the press; rights of assembly and petition Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

West is the congressman from Florida's 22nd Congressional District

"If we are to have a new dawn in America," continued West:

...it means reclaiming our Judeo-Christian faith heritage. John Adams said, 'We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is totally inadequate to the government of any other.' This is not about a separation of church and state; it is about making sure that we do not separate faith from the individual. We must never forget that the American motto is 'In God We Trust.'

Therefor, I think this church should pay taxes.
