The law is on the books in Pennsylvania and coaches that are employed by a university or school are considered "educators" and they are mandated reporters. This story only gets better though. There is also a cover-up by the police, a missing DA who thought to bring his computer with him and make sure the hard drive was destroyed, and an obvious culture of corruption surrounding the entire town, not just the university. A federal investigation will likely ensue and the bodies they might unbury here could sink a lot of folks. A lot of people knew and chose to do nothing or even worse chose to bury it to protect a football program. If we don't see a complete suspension of the Penn State athletic program here pending a full investigation, I will quite honestly be stunned.
