Too many of these conservative tools think that sex ed involves teaching teens
how to have sex...I've actually had conversations with people where that was
pretty much said verbatim.My take on all of this is--if "personhood" begins at conception, then I should
be able to declare a fetus as a dependent, have that fetus covered under my
family insurance plan, take out a life insurance policy on that fetus, and--in
the tragically unfortunate event of a still birth of miscarriage--collect life
insurance on that fetus.That all sounds tacky and tasteless, but it's no less unsavory than the fundie
wingnuts of the world derailing our government so they can legislate their
misguided world view.
