Watching the 6 O Clock news brings worldly tragedy daily - a bomb dropped here a suicide bomber there - to the point that I'm sure it desensitizes me. But watching and hearing the story (one of many we'll hear I'm sure) of the teacher who told her class huddled in a bathroom that she loved them and they were going to be ok because she didn't want gunshots to be the last things they heard - was emotionally devastating to me. My wife and I just cried.
Thanks for sharing your story and I hope you keep us updated with the personal narrative from your town. Know that you're in our thoughts.
