I simply can't fathom any of that - during, before and after. Oh, those families and friends. What can be said and done?

I have seen horrible things but can't fathom what any emergency worker could be dealing with out there.

But the families. Every day I am so fearful of something bad happening to our children and probably neurotically so, but, man...

Still, the most frightening thing in the aftermath of this is I fear America is too far gone. There is something deeply wrong with this country. We in this country have this bizarre pathology like we fell we are in sudden danger of being invaded and taken over and to me, it has created this deep seated and irrational fear that is so deep we take solace in firearms, religion and hate so badly it is unhealthy as hell.

This is not a knock about religion, but that the hate some use religion to create.

How is that a country deals with a mass problem like Tylenol being spiked with poison years ago but we can't solve this gun issue?

One last comment...out of all the people in the media making sense of this the other day it was Dr. Drew (Pinsky?) of all people. After seeing him on CNN, I have new respect for him. There is more to that man than meets the eye. Seriously.
