Right now I'm watching some late news shows and this Comey/Russia story seems to be falling apart big time for Trump. Even the Wall Street Journal is now reporting that Comey DID ask for more assets in the Russia/election investigation while the Department of Justice is denying any request was made (it now appears that Comey protected himself by telling congresspeople he made this request after he made the request).

My serious question is this - now that the Republicans control the White House, Congress and the DOJ and that apparently Trump's supporters don't care what Trump does, just what happens if no one that has the ability to do something about this, chooses not do so?

What if Congress refuses to investigate this? What if the DOJ chooses to ignore all this?

Right now I have a serious lack of trust the Republican Party will put country above party. I really do.
