So, continuing down the honest path here we should look at the politics
of this situation because this is very obviously a partisan mess. Let's be honest here, this all has happened because the Republicans
created a massive and horrible political shit storm when they blocked
President Obama from appointing a Supreme Court judge and held that up
for over a year until there was an election. Let's be honest too that the Democrats put up a pathetic fight to prevent
this from happening and when it became apparent that Donald Trump was the
Republican candidate for President the Democrats stopped worrying about
the Republicans blocking Obama from being able to appoint a Supreme Court
judge. Everybody thought there was no chance Trump could win, so why
worry?Well, we all know how that turned out. Republicans now worry that if the
Democrats win the House and/or Senate that they will deliver payback for
the nonsense the Republicans pulled blocking Obama choosing a judge and
block Trump for the rest of his term. Would they? Who knows but since the Republicans know they played dirty
with Obama they expect the Democrats to respond in kind. So, in reality
this entire situation was created by the Republicans and it should never
have happened.Obama even went so far as to find out if the Republicans would confirm
Merrick Garland, they said they absolutely would...then, of course, when
Obama nominated him they instead said "Sorry, we love Merrick but we are
going to play politics instead."The typical behavior of Democrats is to try to play fair and so they
might not block Trump's next pick if Kavanaugh goes down and they do win
the House and/or Senate. They would have every right to block the pick if
they did though since the Republicans set that crappy standard. This is
why nobody in politics should look to set these crappy standards because
once set, they will be repeated. So, with all that in mind this is why this entire Kavanaugh thing is so
nasty. Plus look at the reality here. The Democrats tried to delay by correctly
requesting all documents related to Kavanaugh be made available and of
course the Republicans ignored the request. Now, with these sexual allegations they are essentially just throwing a
Hail Mary because they have NO POWER to block the nomination. So, they
can only hope that a few Republicans do not like this whole thing and see
that putting a guy like Weepy Brett on the Supreme Court would be a
travesty. Honestly, I don't think much will come from the FBI investigation. I hope
I am wrong but due to the fact that the events are so old, everybody
involved was either drinking and/or on drugs and that the key witness is
a good buddy of Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, and Judge is a long term booze and
drug abuser and a crap human being...well...he can easily and probably
honestly say he does not remember anything from over 30 years ago. So,
this looks like a dead end. The only glimmer of hope here is that one thing that appears to have come
out is both Kavanaugh and some "guy" working for or with him began
contacting people in July and/or August through into September attempting
to head off more sexual allegations they knew were coming and there is
likely evidence of this in terms of text messages, emails, and phone
calls. This would at least be evidence that not only did Kavanaugh abuse
and attack women but he was trying to orchestrate a cover-up and create a
narrative with these people to hide what he did.
