McConnell thinks he has the votes. Which means Flake, Murkowski, and
sadly Collins as well will vote yes. Hell, McConnell thinks he also has
the two Red State Democrats voting yes as well out of fear of not getting
reelected.
The FBI interviewed 9 people and turned in the nine 302 forms. They did
not speak to any of the 40 people that came forward saying they had
information and that Kavanaugh lied in the hearings. They did not speak
to Kavanaugh and they did not speak to Dr. Ford. There is no report, no
findings, just 9 interview forms for senators to read and make of what
they will. So, unless Mark Judge recalled the incident with Ford and
confirmed her testimony...I'd say we will shortly welcome our new Supreme
Court Judge Mark Kavanaugh.
It will be yet another horrible day in US history and Kavanaugh will
begin his time on the court seeking revenge on Democrats in any way he
can. So, the senate will knowingly vote for a man that will use his
position to punish their political enemies and has a very questionable
record.
This is what the end of any sort of democracy looks like.
The only hope here is that based on Kavanaugh's insane behavior last
Thursday that we get that small handful of senators that do the right
thing and vote no.
