I don't disagree with you, EEE, and yes, Senator Warren has put a lot of time and thought into articulating
many position papers. The thing is that very, very few folks are inclined to read anything substantive. The
voters that Trump and the eventual Democratic nominee are fighting over often don't get beyond the
superficial. I think Trump would salivate over a Warren nomination. Example in point, a recent Boston Gay
Pride Parade. There is footage of the senator, draped in a rainbow boa, vigorously shaking her arms about.
You won't find anyone who is more gay rights than me, but I know the optics of Warren's enthusiasm often
suck! She would be easily painted as an out-of-touch, far left kook. I know, it's not reality, and it's not fair, but
the sons of bitches on the other team know how their audience and they know how to intensify the cultural
divide. Senator Warren often comes off as strident and out of the mainstream. And I think she's great, but
substance doesn't seem to matter to many people. I may be wrong, but I think we need a blue collar guy,
loosened necktie, sleeves rolled up, who is plain spoken, and willing to mix it up a bit. I think a Biden/Kamala
Harris ticket might be the way to go, but it's early, and I totally blew the last election, so what do I know?Peter T.
