What I find especially fearful about American society is that it has truly turned into a "current" generation country. What I mean by this is that the "current" generation has now become the most important era.

There is no long term thinking going on anymore. It's all about "me" and "now" and fuck all of our children and grandchildren.

And fundamental change needs to occur and this does not mean going all in on a total system of socialism, but instead a blend and a need to get away from our own predatory capitalistic system we have now.

But Democrats need to get away from the practice of re-running past elections as if that is how things are done today. It is such a different ballgame.

And I agree with you about Biden and Harris. But at the end of the day, in the debates, if Trump even decides to have one, the Dem needs to be ready to dish it out and get down in the muck right along with Trump. But you watch, somewhere along the way the Democratic Party will declare how it has to be respectful to the office of the President and blah, blah, blah...instead of taking it to him as he deserves.
