Another show that I highly recommend that deals with religion in its many twisted forms is "American Gods" (Based on the Neil Gaiman novel).
Stylized deeply original and surreal, it deals with how various religions came to the US and are now being replaced by something else.
(Note - this is at times very bloody ;-) )
