Wow...the offbeat humor is astounding and most is played straight. Anyone that enjoys the humor of the Coen brothers and the quirkiness of the Fargo tv seasons should like Patriot. I can't believe I never really heard of it until Amazon announced it was being canceled after two seasons. One unique scene involving four chauvinistic male detectives at the urinals was outrageous and spot on. Great actors, too, especially Terry Quinn and the hugely underrated Kurtwood Smith (an actor everyone will recognize, but not know his name)....
