Europe is fine Pete. Sort our your own mess bruv. Europe's actually the last bastion of liberalism that hasn't caved in to despots such as Putin or Trump or Bin Salman or Netanyahu or Jinping. Without the Franco-German alliance right now (and Denmark/Ireland/Spain/Holland/Canada and a few more) it would be a free for all. 

There is a growing right wing in most european countries that is unnerving but based upon a generation of people dying off whose memories are of the second world war we're just coming round full circle. it will play out as it always does. 

Brexit is different. Brexit was meant to shut up the right wing of the Tory party by having a vote that would see Britain remain in europe. The referendum was advisory only...it was corrupted by Russia and America and it is an archaic system in Britain and with Parliament about to be prorogued we're seeing the birth pangs of a new civilisation. which is basically the same as any other previous civilisation.
