I imagine you are acquainted with Douglas Murray, Mick. Are his worries unfounded? I gather you haven't read the book. Have you seen his debates, speeches, interviews on Youtube? He doesn't strike me as a bigot or an alarmist, just a decent, very concerned journalist.
And I know the US has its own problems with violence, boy do I. But wouldn't you agree that something fundamental to European culture has changed, and that it may change in enormous and illiberal ways in the future? And I realize that those who feel this way also include some really horrid right-wing fringe groups, but even these dangerous goons can sometimes be on to something.
