I think it matters and I think they have to impeach him because he obviously has done something that truly is criminal behavior from a US president. This needs to be sent to the Senate no matter what the Senate does. Republicans in the Senate have to be made to openly state where they stand on what Trump has done. Of course until it gets before them they will attempt to hold the line that they are still behind the president but keep in mind, very few of them will openly state that.
