It's my belief that no matter what happens tonight in the Tuesday primaries, this debate needs to go on.  In fact, I think this debate will be one of the most important moments in Biden's campaign.  I just hope that Sanders (he and Warren are my preferred candidates) does not go scorched Earth on Biden. 

Why I think it is so important to Biden is because it is his chance to be put under pressure to reveal if he has the mental acuity that so many are spreading he does not have. He will have to stand on stage one on one with a person that has a much different perspective than he, just like Trump does.

I think if Biden goes toe to toe with Sanders and does well, it will be a major victory for his campaign and it is something Democrats need to see. 

Without sitting down and looking at the rest of the states to see how many more progressive states are available for Sanders, I think it is pretty clear who the Democrats desire between Sanders and Biden and until now, I don't think the interpretation of Biden, in his modern campaigning, has illustrated he can go toe to toe with Trump. 

Unfortunately, I fear if Biden has a route tonight, the DNC will push to have the debate canceled because, frankly, what the Democrats do best is fuck things up.
