It's much less about what there is to like about Biden than it is what there is to dislike about Sanders. Look at the platform positions on his website. Many (although I'll argue not all) look like nice goals. Drill down into how he would intend to achieve those goals. That's where the problems are. And that plus some positions taken in his past are where his electability would be very much in question.
Bernie wants more things to be "equal." That's not even a desirable thing. The country becomes a courser and uglier place with 4 more years of the imbecile that is Trump. We can get over him. I'll submit that 8 years of Sanders (unless there was an extremely combative Congress) might be even worse. Remember what Hugo Chavez did in 12 years? I don't find Sanders progressive in the least. More like a radical regressive. The mirror opposite of Trump but every bit as dangerous.
This is why Biden is likely to get the nomination. Of course, he brings his own baggage.
I'm aware that several here might disagree, and I apologize if what's written offends sensibilities or deeply-held beliefs. I'll admit that my (and family members') very bad experience with the Chavez and Maduro regimes might influence this perspective a little bit.
