Yes, by denying what he was telling Woodward to the public he was  being the leader who was calming his people.

With this book, and others about to come out, along with those  just out, such as that of  his former personal attorney, Cohen, the shit is about to hit the proverbial fan.

His defense just now of what the Woodward tapes divulged, was so fricking weak,  I don't see how his base can continue their loyalty. I'm sure Sean Hannity will do his damndest on Fox, though, to pile sandbags on the breach.

Come election day, if enough of his base votes twice as he is suggesting, his totals will remain higher than they really are, just long enough to plant doubt in the  recount.  Then he and Barr leap into their planned challenges.
