That is an interesting point about Woodward not releasing this information sooner.

Sadly, I am flabbergasted by the response of Republicans and of their defense of Trump for this. 

I keep looking back to the start of all this and keep thinking if only the US Govt had had a consistent and uniform reaction to COVID-19 how things would have been different.  It infuriates me how Trump, the Republicans, and those that follow these fools have only added to the worsening of this crisis and now refuse to accept any sort of responsibility. 

On top of this, in just the last few days Trump has ridiculed Biden for wearing a mask and told a reporter to take one off at a press briefing.

What this man has done has been criminal.  Absolutely criminal.
