To me, the horse is out of the barn on this one even if Biden wins in Nov. 

Because of the horrible response by Trump and his administration, I don't even think a mandatory mandate to wear masks would even be effective.  Too many of the Trumpies simply think the COVID virus is a hoax or not as bad as it is and I don't think anyone could persuade them to mask up because of Trump and his criminal behavior from the start, therfore, none of these people would be willing to mask up regardless. 

Months ago on my FB page, I surmised that if Trump had behaved in ways that this virus should have been handled, he well may have gone down as the best President in US history, but he did not.  He blew it big time.  And I don't think he can get that horse back in the barn - or for that matter, no one else can. 

Just the other day I went into a local business with signs clearly requiring masks and as I was leaving, two middle-aged White people were entering the store without masks.
