No. This particular place is a smaller, liberal arts school just north of Austin. It is a D III that has a pretty good baseball team, but like Ivy League there are not scholarships for athletics. (There is an endowment, and I suspect athletes get occasional favorable treatment from that for need-based help). With the the lost year from nearly dying, he got off some radars for recruiting although there were some looks this summer. If he goes to a bigger school like U of T, baseball would be out (SMU not on our list although there is a good business program there). He did meet with the baseball coach and could choose to walk on - and might likely make it. But he's also in an orchestra and has been mulling the idea of auditioning for that instead. There would be some additional financial aid coming if that were to work out.
Feliz Navidad, sir.
