Icon And....back to policing....

Next to all of these shootings and the deaths of people, what really makes me so disappointed is how many offer up explanations in way of an excuse for them to have happened.  Yes, one can give reasons or an explanation of why something did or did to happen, but it should not to be as a way of excusing or removing responsibility.  Frankly, I do not care if George Floyd was 400 lbs and with a heart so bad that it could go at any time.  His "problem" was a goddamned knee to the neck.  And to hear all of those trying to justify his death with drugs, alcohol, bad health, or some other reason other than a knee to the neck is outrageous. In the shooting of 13 yr old Adam Toledo the cry is for "compliance" - fucking "compliance" meaning, don't run in the first place.  And also the fact of he was with a gun.  He tossed the gun and was trying to comply when shot.  How the fuck can anyone defend that??? Then I keep hearing "what is a 13 yr old boy doing out in the AM to begin with?"  Well, what I want someone to ask these people asking this question is, what 13 yr old boy has never tried to sneak out in the early AM before?"  Jesus, I know I snuck out countless times.  Lastly, I don't care how street this teen was and one thing I am not hearing is anything like, "imagine if you had a 13 yr old son running from the police - how afraid, confused and not knowing what to do, do you think YOUR son would be?"  At the end of the day, this teenager WAS complying - he was doing what he was told to do and was shot and how anyone, even police, can defend this is simply beyond me.
