I'm pretty much in complete agreement with you here, Reg. I am a bit conflicted about Snowden. I think his motivations were probably admirable, but I do worry that he caused a lot of damage for the country, and that lives were lost in the wake of his revelations. His flight to Russia provided the worst of all optics.  Sometimes we need to closely guard our secrets, and other times, misdeeds and criminality need to be exposed. And when genuine national security interests are on the line, well, I'm not qualified to make that call.
