If it's any consolation - I'd never experienced (or heard of) these xD headphone tracks. The MJ one you posted was too weird with MJ moving through the space a little too much - there was a (?) guitar that I thought was cool. Now - the second one was much more interesting. There are a handful of 5.1 releases - The Beatles most recently with their remixed collections. Kevin Gilbert even had a 5.1 release with Toy Matinee (what a great album btw). You got to have the right set-up but they're fun to listen to. Maybe not worth the hassle in the end though. Give me a well mastered stereo release and a good pair of cans and I'll be happy.
