So, I am not leaving these things out I just do not think that these things reach the same level. I also do find it somewhat troubling how any female Democrat gets horrifically demonized by the Republicans. It began with Hillary but you name the female Democrat and they are attacked, threatened with violence, and in Pelosi's case, the victim of violence.
None of these women threaten people with violence, try to get people to overthrow the government, work to destroy our elections, or refuse to work with people across the aisle. None are anywhere near the level of the people on the right, that includes now over 150 politicians, and that list will expand after this election, who claim our elections are rigged and won't even speak up when one of their insane followers attacks and tries to kill the spouse of one of their colleagues. I mean, holy crap there is a truly horrific group of elected Republicans that are playing a direct role in why so many politicians need 24/7/365 security now. That's not an accident, it is a strategy.
Also AOC and the "Squad" really are marginalized and have no power. They are not in any way a threat to anything. They are mostly blown-up and recognized BECAUSE Right Wing media features and attacks them constantly. Why? Because the Right really has some issues with women and any female makes an easy target that will rile their base. Can't say I really appreciate that.
I would also point out that these female Democrats don't run around spreading insane lies that are intended to harm people. I have no issue with people disagreeing with them on policy but not threatening to kill and harm them.
On Black Lives Matter, they also get most of their press and media attention from Right Wing Media. They deservedly became more of a thing when police killings of black citizens featured on the news when people were locked up with Covid but their popularity peaked with about 70% of the public being supportive of them during that time. I mean watching a bad cop kill George Floyd was pretty disgusting, to say the least.
The huge difference between Black Lives Matter and MAGA is that MAGA lunatics are in positions of power in states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona. They are elected to Congress and the Senate. They are taking away people's rights, banning books, and working to end Democracy here. Black Lives Matter has no power and no capacity to do that.
